On June 22, students in HOC Academy participated in the FIRST LEGO League STEM field trip at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Twenty-five HOC students joined hundreds of young people from around the world for hand-on workshops and formal presentations. Combining basic materials, creativity and innovation, students developed prototype solutions to various challenges. The students learned that through imagination and experimentation they were able to overcome obstacles and solve problems. Over the course of the day HOC youth were able to tap into their tremendous potential, create remarkable robots and have fun while learning.
